Dudes by Josh, LLC. was started in 2003. It is a small professional freelance art studio.

     It was founded by father and CEO, Dr. Richard Purple. His two sons, Josh and Jed run the studio. Dr. Purple keeps track of all copyright, contracts, and legal aspects. Josh, the production artist, sees to the creation of all of the art. Jed manages finances, marketing, and web sites.

      We are a very open-minded studio, and flexible for the needs of our clients. We respect our clients and thank them deeply for their support. Dudes by Josh aims to provide the highest quality possible for all of the studio's works, and at reasonable professional rates.*

     Dudes by Josh has been involved with and helped; The Children's Hospital (Minneapolis & St.Paul), the local Mpls./St.Paul Chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH (Josh was the Chair in 2002), the Minnesota Electronic Theatre (the MET), Josh helps run the local Max Users Group with the support of our most well loved local reseller Digital Pictures, -along with many other projects.

The last name "Purple" is the real family name, always making the studio easy to remember.
